Reimagining the traditional PA solutions.

The year 2019 marked the initial concept and development of SOWA's core technology. We began with proof-of-concept work and laid the foundation for the electronics that would drive our speakers. During this phase, we focused on defining our target customers and understanding the market we would serve. It was also a time to envision the future of SOWA and establish the direction for the business.

Building on the progress made in the previous year, 2020 was a year of refinement and growth. We developed prototypes and started establishing relationships with key suppliers. The wireless technology, which is central to SOWA’s offering, underwent extensive testing, refinement, and iteration.

Despite hitting some challenges, we continued pushing forward. We closed our first investment round with well-known profiles in the Danish audio industry, TC electronics and Dynaudio.

In 2021, the momentum picked up pace. We achieved a technological breakthrough, reaching a range of over 100 meters and latency of less than 15 ms on the wireless transmission. This also meant delivering our first units to customers—SOWA Pro was born.

By mid-year, we were already producing our first 200 units and delivering them to our initial customers.

The year 2022 was a breakthrough for SOWA. We developed SOWA Connect, which launched in Hi-Fi Klubben, marking our expansion into international markets, including Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Germany.

In June, we received prestigious recognition for our efforts, winning the Danish Design Award, which solidified our brand's reputation for innovation and craftsmanship.

2023 was another year of significant progress. We decided to focus exclusively on the professional market, establishing a professional distribution network across Europe. With launches in multiple markets across Europe and Asia, we saw increased interest.

This period was characterized by a relentless pursuit of expanding and refining our communication about the brand and products to customers in our new markets.

The year 2024 promises to be an exciting one for SOWA. In January, we reached a significant milestone with the production of our SOWA Pro XL. As an innovation and development-focused company, we are continually refining and advancing our products.

This year, we are also strengthening our operations by expanding the team, streamlining external development processes, and bringing in mentors from various fields to guide our growth.

As we look to the future, SOWA is dedicated to continue our current trajectory of innovation and growth. Our focus will remain on pushing the boundaries of wireless audio technology, expanding our product lineup, and further refining our existing offerings. In the coming years, we plan to scale our production while strengthen our global presence.
